Premium Tools has a particular focus on the calibration of torque wrenches, screwdrivers and various testing devices, which are carried out in-house by the sales specialist. The repair and testing of tools also ensure the precision and reliability that customers expect. The broad customer group in Switzerland ranges from the electrical and aviation industries to cable cars, railroads, industry, the military, chemicals, automotive/bicycle, sanitary facilities, timber construction, tunnel construction, training centers, construction and ancillary construction trades and forestry.
Personal partnerships
Close and personal cooperation with customers and partners is important to Premium Tools. The company relies on advanced IT interfaces between sales and logistics. “This was ultimately the reason why we chose FIEGE as our logistics service provider,” explains Jan Wittlin, CEO of Premium Tools. “The logistics solution was implemented with a lot of drive and speed. A hit for us!” Despite the technological progress, personal contact and teamwork always remain at the forefront. This is why the employees of Premium Tools and FIEGE Switzerland get together every year for a festive Christmas dinner. Another end-of-year highlight for Stefan Waldner, Head of Logistics at FIEGE Switzerland in Münchenstein, is the Wera brand Advent calendar. “As a passionate hobby craftsman and a real tool fan, I was really excited about it,” he says.
The future: outlook and growth
Premium Tools is not standing still. Future projects include the expansion of end customer consulting, an expansion in the DIY sector, the development of an online store and the opening up of new sales channels such as the bicycle trade and forestry.
