Code of Conduct and Compliance Management System

There are many reasons for the success of our company. One of the main reasons is responsible and fair conduct towards our colleagues at work, our business partners and the public.

Accordingly, the topic of compliance has also undergone dynamic development at FIEGE in recent years. Just a few years ago, the term was barely used in everyday language, but today compliance is an integral part of good corporate governance and a central component of corporate practice in every company.
Compliance is the observance of applicable laws and regulatory requirements. It goes without saying that such action is also essential for the companies of the FIEGE Group and their employees. It is a basic prerequisite - not only for good cooperation at FIEGE, but also for cooperation with our customers and business partners.
A compliance management system forms the basis for adherence to corporate compliance. It is designed to prevent legal violations and potential liability cases, and it should enable the company management to intervene in the event of suspicious circumstances. The positive effects of a compliance management system are, on the one hand, the reduction of liability risks for the company and its management and, on the other hand, the safeguarding and promotion of the company's reputation vis-à-vis stakeholders, in particular business partners, lenders and investors.

The Code of Conduct

It is our central concern to maintain and further develop the high esteem in which the FIEGE Group is held. The Code of Conduct provides our employees with guidance in an increasingly complex world. The rules of conduct formulated in the Code form a common guideline for responsible behavior in business life, but also outside of it. They replace the previously valid business principles.

The trust center

The FIEGE Group has set up a confidentiality office that is available to all employees. It supports compliance with the rules of conduct formulated in the FIEGE Code of Conduct.
We encourage all employees to contact their direct line manager or the confidentiality office at any time if they have any questions or uncertainties in connection with irregular behavior.

FIEGE Compliance Management System

The Code of Conduct is also the foundation of the FIEGE Compliance Management System. It consists of the international Compliance Board as an advisory and decision-making body, the Coordination Office as the central point of contact, the points of trust of the respective country organizations and the compliance contact persons in the individual subsidiaries. Not only national but also international compliance officers are appointed for the relevant compliance sub-areas for all national companies.
