Flexible working models through job sharing
Job sharing enables two employees to work together as a tandem in a full-time position. They divide tasks, areas of responsibility and working hours flexibly in order to jointly fulfil the contractually agreed total working hours. Our modern part-time model offers a high degree of flexibility and therefore many valuable benefits: From shared knowledge, greater agility and an optimised work-life balance to increased productivity.
How does the model work in practice?
"If the employer is flexible, a career is also possible with children. We first became aware of this opportunity at FIEGE through our partners, who also work there. Although we didn't know each other, we quickly grew into a great tandem. FIEGE accommodates us with shift planning and takes our family situation into consideration. This allows us to organize our working and childcare times flexibly."

When we started, FIEGE supported us in the form of an onboarding programme, for example in organising our collaboration. A unique programme for our female talents
Empowering women to take the next step in their careers - this was the aim of our Female Empowerment Workshop, which took place for the first time in June 2023. With the modern workshop format of our FIEGE Academy, we support talented female employees in reflecting on and further developing their role as women in or on the way to key functions in the company.
The programme is run by Lucienne Bangura-Nottbeck and Stefanie Fehr-Hobeg - two experienced communication experts and committed advocates of gender equality in the world of work.

FIEGE EQUALITY POWER BARCAMP
Networking event for all project supporter
"Equal rights have actually been achieved long ago. The fight for equality is overshooting the mark!" - This provocative thesis kicked off the first company-wide barcamp for the FIEGE Equality Power project team. The discussion took place in a colourful panel discussion: Colleagues from various departments and divisions as well as our Co-CEO Jens Fiege and Dr Anna Weber, Co-CEO of BabyOne, shared exciting insights from their professional lives.
In the afternoon, ideas were exchanged in various barcamp sessions on how equal opportunities can be brought even more broadly into our family business in the long term. To summarise: the first FEP Barcamp was a complete success and we are already looking forward to the next event!
