Andreas Thiede joins FIEGE Healthcare business unit
The FIEGE Group is expanding the management team for its Healthcare business unit by bringing Andreas Thiede on board. In the future, the industry expert will oversee the hospital, pharmaceutical and MedTech division of the 150-year-old family business in the position of Managing Director jointly with Michael Lorca.
Starting 1 February 2024, Andreas Thiede will take on the position of Managing Director for FIEGE’s Healthcare business unit. The 53-year-old will impart his many years of experience in process and system logistics, wholesaling, pharmacy sales as well as corporate and business unit development. Together with Michael Lorca, who has been holding this position since 2021, Thiede will oversee the ongoing advancement of the services offer within healthcare at the Greven-based logistics provider.

FIEGE has been established in the Healthcare segment for more than 25 years. Its clientele includes hospitals and renowned pharmaceutical as well as MedTech companies. Thiede worked for over 20 years at Gehe Pharma Handel, holding various managerial positions. In the course of his career, he has been the head of the organisation, logistics, sales and marketing departments. The Hamburg-native last held the Chair of the Board of Management at the leading-edge pharmaceutical wholesaler.
