FIEGE to take on logistics for OACE
The FIEGE Group is the new logistics partner of OACE. Since early October, the Greven-based family business has been managing the warehousing and distribution logistics for the successful Cologne-based fitnesswear brand from its logistics centre in Burgwedel near Hanover.
Since the beginning of October, FIEGE has been handling B2C logistics for the community brand OACE. At its 5,000-square-metre logistics centre in Burgwedel, the logistics service provider is targeting an annual throughput of up to two million items for the young fitnesswear brand.

The start of the collaboration between OACE and FIEGE was a rapid one. Only two weeks separated the signing of the contract at the end of September and the first shipment at the beginning of October. Within three days, a good 500,000 OACE items were transferred to the Fiege location in Burgwedel. At the same time, an IT set-up was implemented and connected to the e-commerce software Shopify.
Alexander Glörfeld, CEO of OACE, says: “We were faced with the challenge of having to find and onboard a new logistics provider at very short notice. The period of just two weeks between signing the contract and the start of fulfilment is a task that is almost impossible to manage given our business volume.
