FIEGE is strengthening its digital services offering for eCommerce clients with the new FIEGE E-Commerce Suite. Using modular, integrated and AI-based solutions across the entire value chain, the logistics company facilitates seamless scaling of D2C business for e-tailers.

The FIEGE Group is expanding its portfolio of digital services by pairing eCommerce products under its new FIEGE E-Commerce Suite. By interconnecting the individual products and services, FIEGE creates an integrated solution that combines software and services. E-tailers are thus given the opportunity to map all process flows – from order processing to parcel delivery and returns management – transparently, flexibly, and cost-effectively from a single source.

Felix Hettlage, Managing Director of FIEGE’s Digital business unit which he oversees together with Boris Scholz, explains: “It is becoming increasingly complex to turn eCommerce into a success. Also, it requires more than one-off solutions only. It calls for the seamless interconnection of digital services, the logistical infrastructure and of the actual service. The big challenge is to create the best-possible processes for the entire customer journey. And we offer just that: an integrated solution which is nevertheless composed of modular and flexible services, and pairs up software with services under our E-Commerce Suite. This is how we simplify eCommerce many times over.”

The products which the 150-year-old family business holds ready for clients working in eCommerce cover everything from marketplace solutions, omnichannel and stock management to fulfilment, parcel shipments and financial services, to carrier claims management and customer service. Boris Scholz adds: “It is our goal to be the best partner to every business that wants to build and expand its eCommerce operations. For makers and brands that previously sold via B2B distribution structures or that are looking to access the European market, we offer a custom-fit solution for their own online business since we combine the necessary software services with eCommerce services.” Scholz further explains that this puts FIEGE in the position of being able to assist in optimising processes along every step of the value chain: “Decades of experience in eCommerce are working very much to our advantage. We developed the ability to spot digital trends fast and align ourselves accordingly at a very early point in time. And we understand the individual needs of our clients – especially when it comes to building functional sales channels for direct sales.”

For this reason, FIEGE established its Digital division as an autonomous and independent business unit next to Contract Logistics, Real Estate and Ventures two years ago already. And now, the next step. Says Felix Hettlage: “We are pooling our know-how, our resources and our products in our E-Commerce Suite. Yet most and for all, we empower our clients to level up their existing eCommerce set-up, to meet the increase in demands within the complete eCommerce value chain as well as the growing expectations of end customers.”
